So, I am now halfway through my week - yay! I have Friday off and am planning to meet with a couple of mortgage companies to discuss what kind of packages I can get for buying a house. Yep, I am mounting up the energy to buy a house again. I tried to buy out in Iowa MANY times, but had three houses sold out from under me.
Turns out that God knew (not a surprise) that He was moving me back home within a year of that and even the decision to tell my roommate that I was leaving was used by God as well (another story). It did put me off the experience, though, for a while.
Well, now I'm ready to try again. I am ready to get out of apartment living again and have some land to work with. And, when I look at the money I am throwing away by renting, it makes me queasy. I went through the Crown Financial Concepts courses while I was in Iowa and really believe that this will be a major piece of being free financially later in life to do things that I can not right now. So, if you will, pray about this decision with me. I would like to find something and move in by June (when my lease is up).
On a lighter side, I watched a Japanese Anime film last night called Appleseed. It was intriguing, and I think I am beginning to understand how to watch these films (and how Eastern literature works in general). Bizarre to me still but amazing animation.
